Learn about RSD really was a bit of a light bulb moment for me. It made me think even more about the adaptations that we need to make. Children with underlying conditions such as ADHD might be hypersensitive to perceived criticism or correction. Knowing that a child may have impulsive tendencies and a hypersensitivity to feeling criticized or told off, because of the way that brains are wired means that we have to tread carefully and respectfully. Do our best to correct and advise those kids gently if we don't want the situation to escalate.
