I think shooting documentaries is, it just enlarges your life. Just getting out in the world with people with a camera raises a lot of questions about who we are. I was always a very shy person until I got on a plane and went to Rhodesia when it was Rhodesia during the war. And like you say, you have to find your way with people and you don't get anywhere unless you're honest and just being yourself.
