A lot of the real power of the united states lies not just in the military, but in the dominance of our currency. The i m f came out this week saying they thought the sanctions may weaken dollar dominance in that global financial system. There's very little desire on the tyonese side to immigrate into china, at least into the current system that exists. Even if you give them billions in rumand b, they will still try to convert that into dollars uro.
