A Summer to Die, I Was Not a Morbid Kid, but for That Reason
Mary laura: I was aware as i was writing bomb shelter that i was doing something that has been done for me before. There's a chapter near the beginning called fire starter, where i write about when, how, when i was little, i went through a phase where i read all these books where people died. And so i think having posure to that, but also having like the wiring of a writer, and maybe a more anxious temperament, or whatever like that's in, i interesting juxtaposition. That's mary laura, that's tha. That's the special recipe thet created my brain.
