Women's Public Toilets in London
Since at least 1848, the Public Health Act has allowed local councils to build public toilets. But until 2006, standards gave men more facilities when you added urinals and toilets together. The standard that covers public toilets built in Britain is called BS6465. It's part one of this section that deals with how many facilities we need to give women versus men. We've come a long way since the Victorian era, but maybe not that far.
