Dr. Siler says it's paramount that we must not forget to manage the total stress response and all the factors that contribute to that in our lives. It's a reminder to not forget about intensity control and to control our natural instinct, which tends to be to go harder even on our easier days. "Intensity is just a one dimensional variable. It only has meaning when you add the duration component," he said.
