Our coping mechanisms, as we've talked about a lot and the podcast, are often very intelligent. And an it can be helpful to see that too, the ways in which our behaviours aren't our fault, but they can become our responsibility overtime. Ah, and i think what you're getting at is something that i really see as i've started moonlight as a therapist. But with my family, there's a lot of resistance to going to therapy. The terror of knowing is way worse than pretending like you don't know or staying in the ways that you've coped.
