Is There a Benefit to Slowing Down in Hotter Conditions?
When it's really hot out, I naturally have to slow down but maintain my effort. Am I getting less training benefit by slowing down in hotter conditions? So you're training at a lower level of power. How much lower it is than the objective of the workout? It depends. You'll still be getting your quality indoors. And hopefully your fitness will continue to increase both in your short-term high intensity stuff and your low intensity stuff in the heat.
