The Origin of California YIMBY

YIMBY stands for yes in my backyard, meaning that we support the more neighbors to live in our communities. The origin story of California Yimby very much lies with CARLA, which is still kicking around. They are now known as the California Housing Defense Fund and they sue cities that violate state housing law.
