The guard is a huge aspect of degits. It's really easy to just want to play off your back, but definitely under a rule set where points really mean nothing. The person who gets their dominant grips will probably be the person who starts immediately controlling the fight. And mat, you mentioned earlier the concept of being frugal when you're in the engagement phase, which is so important to talk about.
