Primary Care - Is Hemotology a Good Choice?

When do you feel like it's important to have them get in front of a hemotologist? When's the the indication for a referal to to a subspecialist. I think if there's any concern for an underlying bleness, or especially of the patients significantly anemic from their period, then hemotology is warranted. A lot of the bleeding disorder work up really needs to be done in specialized labs and interpreted by hemotologists.
