The best joke I ever heard about a baby cognition was we were on a plane and a baby would not stop crying. They're kind of like what adult brain is like on psychedelics in a way, Neil deGrasse Tyson says. So that's why adults are not intrigued by someone dangling keys in front of them. And they have to be a Whoa. These are the distracts them. We got to land this plane to follow the analogy there.
How do our brains learn? On this episode, Neil deGrasse Tyson and co-hosts Chuck Nice and Dave Bakker learn about learning at the Pocketlab Science Is Cool Virtual Unconference with neuroscientist Heather Berlin, PhD.
