I don't think that being in bad faith is ver the right thing to do ethically. But there 're some instrumental situations where, practically speaking, you might not be able to achieve certain things without misleading or misdirecting. It's possible to vote for donald trump in bad faith, but it was also possible tovote for joe bydon in bad faith. You know, i just don't think you can run a collective government that way. And you really aren't going to like it if the other side wins and they tell you that you're morally bad.
