Building Dependencies in Software Development
The easiest time to write a test is when you have no code, right? The longer and longer you wait, the harder it gets to do. Debug later programming: Don't put that in your resume. You're just basically going to reverse instead of looking for all the little problems at the end; prevent them in the beginning through small steps. If you can think of I want the whole thing to do what it's supposed to do, but you can't really dig it down into the small pieces, you're going to have a hard time with TDD. Getting the standard GCC or client or something like that set up could be another stumbling block which can be held people back.
