The Power of Suffering
Christianity allows us to participate fully in the reality of life. We can dive into the joys and the happiness of life because they are relative and related to God, but we can also do that on the side of things that's difficult. You don't enter into something unless you feel like you can bring a good out of it. St. Faustina says that suffering is the thermometer of one's love. Because if you don't suffer for someone, I mean, do you really love them?
