The Importance of Protests in Israel

I think the government seemed a bit spooked at the reaction. They said they wanted to prevent a civil war, which is like a pretty, you know, that's pretty harsh language. Like, what is the point of, let's say they get a fake compromise on this bill? I don't think that bodes well. And one of the ways that it can happen is because all of the people who we've just now seen in the streets are going to feel so politically marginalized and put up even less of a fight. It's going to become a very, like, I think that it may end up being for not.
