Is a Fetus a Baby?

A foetus grows from a clump selvs to a living, breathing baby over the course of nine months. Without a sufficiently developed thalamus, a fetus is more directly comparable to an acorn or a tree than to a human baby or adult. The palamis which is the part of our brain that is responsible for cognition, experience, memory and consciousness does not develop until at least 26 weeks into the pregnancy.
