Bishop and the Witchcraft of the Puritans

Bishop was accused of bewitching five young women. She fell well outside the moral orthodoxy of the Puritans. Her husband said he'd heard her talk about being in league with the devil. The most damning piece of evidence against Bishop, the one that really put the nail in her coffin at this trial were the discovery of a third nipple when she was examined.
