The Possible Martyrdom Class

I think lots of Cardinals, like to have the self conception that they are the possibility of the martyrdom class. But I think actual practical martyrdom is pretty far from their mind when they take it for most of them. And at the same time, he's not actually on the ground in prison, gumming up the diplomatic process. They had in mind, and I could see how they were going to, you know, might have thought the Holy Father might have thought, well, I'm not making a John Fisher.
