You Could Feel Your Brain Empty

I needed to get away from my thoughts. I had, you know, one of the intrusive thoughts or just couldn't escape this round and round and round. So that was what was interesting. People could talk me down and logically I'd go with them and I'd feel better and safe. And then I'd walk out of the room and 20 minutes later, be back to square one. That's the greatest sort of comfort I've been able to give myself. If ever I have a bad day, I'm like, this is just part of the recovery.
