Better Late Than Never

The first thing to realize is you might have wasted a lot of your life. But people do. And better late than never. So if you're going to get your act together, that's not so bad. One of the things Solzhenitsyn decided to do was to go over his whole life and to see where he had gone wrong in his life. He wasn't relying on external sources of judgment; it was him and his own conscience. The Güle Garchipelago will come out in its 50th anniversary form this fall.
