Bitcoin Miners Using Stranded Gas
The Bitcoin network has a distributed peer-to-peer network that doesn't depend on any one miner to facilitate transactions. The miners are better positioned to take advantage of the flare gas opportunity compared to other energy intensive compute processes, like server farms. Current generation Bitcoin miners need good air cooling, which uses energy and or in jurisdictions that have more stringent flaring requirements.
