Is There a Fundamental Definition of Intelligence?

In any definition of intelligence, i think the idea that we can take what we learned and used it in new situations is absolutely central. I kind of calls back in to question this fundamental definition of intelligence. Are they, are these models really learning, or are they memorizing? Ye, what is what is their ability to reason that kind of thing exactly? And there's a lot of workand people have combined it with a deep neral networks, and i find it very interesting. But there's its big problem: It requires an extremely computationally expensive amount of prior knowledge which does require humans to build on.
