i did a lot of mental gymnastics to justify my liking of boy bands and pop music. i think i got it in my head that my reasons for liking them were different than the other girls. And i loved blinquin 82, which felt like the first pop hunk boy band. But i was also the same girl who absolutely cried in my mamma's car when we went and saw the e nostrings attached to her at the all state arena. I'm not one of those girls that covers my entire locker with pictures of just an timber, like, that's just not who i am.
