The University of Bucharest - What Did You Personally Witness?
There was no real academic freedom at the University of Bucharest. We were constantly being told what to do, what to think. But when it came to person-to-person self-sensorship, then I would have put that at 0.5. So people are much more worried in Princeton now than we were in Bucharest.
