Hugo Wards - The First Award

Hugo wards 19 57. The first award was given in 19 53. There was a huge controversy that year having to do with slate voting. That controversy has continued since then, and looks like it will continue on this year. M, the hugo word for best novel has been awarded annually since 19 53 but not in 19 54 or 19 57. So i don't know if that means in 19 fiftyfour, i know there was no, there were no ewards given out at all. I'm not sure if it was a no ward situation or if it was something different.
