The Effect of Food on Eating Speed

The type of food that you eat really makes a big difference to how quickly you eat it. If we can change food from being very soft in texture to being a little bit harder, we can reduce the eating speed by anywhere from 30 to 50%. We know that there's a huge problem in the UK that we are consuming too much heavily processed food.
