The Odds of COVID
When the when the pandemic started, everyone who got COVID lost their sense of smell. And nearly always, the reason why we lose our sense of smell is largely because our noses are filled with mucus. So it doesn't and it's not really associated with inflammation. If if the virus is getting into your nose and killing the neurons that are responsible for detecting odors, you know, your nasal epithelium has stem cells that can rebuild these neurons.
