The Importance of ISI in My Life
Gladden: I grew up in an ISI household my dad sort of became a conservative and he took Edmund Burke as his scholarly area. In those days that debate was between the conservatives and the traditionalists, and actually a lot of elements of those debates are still there. But what's the difference today is we just invaded Afghanistan or about to invade Iraq and 2003, four, five, you know, the Bush administration was saying everyone wants to be liberal. So after 20 years of that, I think people's perspectives have changed but in some way the debates remain remain the same.
