I've Done a Lot of Paintings, but I'm Not Sure I'd Gotten the Hang of It.
Mid series, i made a book where i print everything out and cut it out and stick it in. And then i didn't spend a lot of time going over it or trying to replicate anything in it. It was just like a way of thinking about, what am i interested in at the moment? What artists am i loving at the moment, why? A lot of that stuff is coming in, especially the stuff from my own paintings that that id. Loved cropping it and bringing it in and saying, owhy. I want to do more of that. So that was very helpful.
