The Effects of Unfairness Talk on Hope and Forgiveness
The more that employees talked about unfairness, the less likely they were to forgive their supervisor for any unfair actions. As forgiveness went down, so did employees willingness to be good citizens within the workplace. Mike: We don't even realize that we are distancing ourselves from others to whom we have negative feelings. But when we do a very bad job of hiding our emotions or towards the people around us, we're going to invariably pull back on those relationships.
