The CIA got the prediction of Kiev falling like in five days wrong. And then this whole insurgency strategy, they were going to kick off. It's just like this like institution is just so, it is so bureaucratically incompetent that it just cannot be trusted even when it gets like things marginally right or occasionally right. This leads to another point because of how this war has like taken longer than a lot of people expected. On top of that, you do see the US extracting some geopolitical and geoeconomic benefits by basically making nearly all of Europe dependent on expensive American liquefied natural gas and also weapons.
