The Breath Pattern That I Learned in Yoga
The breath pattern that i've become most fond of is something that i learned in yoga. Yoga has a lot of breath work under the general heading of prana yama. They call it alternate nostril breathing. And basically you use your fingers to hold one nostril shut. You breathe in, then you switch. You breathe out through the other one, and then you breathe in through that same one,. It's easier to understand if you just do it. But i find this enormously soothing. So that's my go too.
