i believe in the separation of church and state. And another way of saying that is the separation between subject and ject. Church is subjective and state is objective. Journalism and poetry because truth. On the other hand, beyond the literal grid, the truth of cinema occurs outside time. It mirrors your archetypal inner life. Both of those things are true, as long as you keep them separate.
