The Importance of Inclusion in National Celebrations
I think that the idea of inclusivity is very important. But what does that mean? And after being a part of many of these conversations, regardless of how you think this moment should be marked or commemorated, I think that we have to know that everyone's going to have different ideas. If we are able to have these disagreements without saying it's somehow anti-American, I really wanted to discuss the idea that differences do not mean that we're breaking down the nation.
