The Power of a Chat First Experience
U.com is a search engine that lets people build their own sites and apps on top of it. The company has launched new chat, which we're about to make the default experience for everyone again. It's kind of interesting while there's a bit of an Uber analogy here where in the beginning some investors thought, oh, Google is this big, maybe you get some market share from them. But what we found is that people would not go to Google and say write new website with JavaScript code and a commenting function. You chat will actually just write that whole thing hundreds of lines of code for you. And so the TAM while largely overlapping is not completely overlapping with your traditional search engine.
