YouTube's Fake News Initiative

The problem is that you as someone who has worked in this field are concerned about are basically unaddressable. This spending program by YouTube is it won't fix that structural problem. And so what is it for? Maybe it's for YouTube to look good so they can seem like they're fighting fake news. The real problem is just totally unaddressed, and then YouTube has a carrot to say, Oh, look at this money that we're giving you traditional news organizations.
