The History of the Pre-Central Gyrus
The pre-central gyrus, historically, traditionally, if you open up your neuroscience textbook or any other anatomy field. From the 1930s till today, your textbooks have shown this strip of the pre- central gyrus as being the home of your motor cortex. But I just like to add a bit more depth to this and say, let's go to 1930s. If it was spoken about in any moment prior to today, it's known as being historic.
