SuganoX and the Risk of Aspiration
In kids it's different than adults is a question about whether succinyl choline is safe to use. The theoretical risk of an undiagnosed malignant hyperthermia condition or a muscular dystrophy doesn't at the time outweigh the risk of aspiration and trauma. Even if you don't have MH make sure you check the labs if you feel that you are you might have to use succinylcholine so I'm much more wary about using it in healthy kids.
