The Role of Hope and Optimism in Climate Action
What is it exactly that drives positive emotions and responses in citizens who are engaged in climate change? This is a trillion dollar question, right? I can attempt to answer this through a combination of our data driven evidence as well as my own personal subjective opinion. So an important factor that we've uncovered is that of hope and optimism. For us, this seems to be what is currently missing and what needs to be amplified more. And the second one, which is linked to this, is a sense of purpose.
