I remember when I wrote called Arm Yourself, where I basically just went through all of these various reports that came out. The DFE and Offstead are saying, don't do this stuff. And yet every single report being delivered to governors or every conversation taking place between head teachers and pupils was still going on. They banned themselves from using the phrase expected progress. What even is it? I don't know what it is, but tell me how many children have done it. You know, you can't define it.
