The Danger of Siddell by John Blithe
There's a lot made of the fact that he grew up nearby, isn't there? And he stayed within a relatively small orbit. But it would be a mistake to think of him as some sort of hived off-cloasted country character. He lived a literary life, he moved in bohemian artistic circles. and got off the land as land, as soil, as muck, as soon as he was a hibble. That's an interesting little contrast in his work, I think.
