Joash, the son of Amaz, reigns over Israel in Samaria for 17 years. He did what was evil in the side of the Lord and followed the sins of Jeroboah. This continuance of idolatry, the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel. Now we're going to shift our attention back to the Northern Kingdom of Israel. We'll be talking about the North for a while, then we'll switch back to the South.
