How Much Time Should You Spend on Your Pitch?
You should spend around 30 to 35% of your pitch setting up the world and characters. Be sure to try to mention where the midpoint is just so they know where everything is landing. If you've done a great job, you can usually pop through act two pretty efficiently,. maiming set pieces and situations that push the story and grow the character.
