Is There a Mirroring Mechanism for Imitation?

The ability to imitate abna, generally, is the basis for all the things that humans can do. We obviously imitate, or learn a lot from imitating others. Other lots of other species do the same thing, from dogs to to octopus. Octopus can do obs we call t observation ar learning, and been demonstrated in a range of species. Yet there was an impressive demonstration of an octopus learning how to get into a container from watching another one who had figured it out. And kids are really good at it, there's no doubt about it.
