Justification by Faith

Are we inviting people to become part of God's family in Christ, essentially? There's a sort of that's the invitation that we're giving when we baptize or confirm. And that is how great many people do become Christians, because they realize this is a family and it's a loving, generous, outgoing, cheerful family. But do you have to have, as it were, if you like, signed on the dotted line of a number of things, I believe Jesus died for me.
