Aretha Now Is a Great Album
This was really the only time Aretha sounded like this, because we all know from that clip that we played earlier that the Columbia albums were just kind of like easy listening stuff. And this was really lightning in a bottle. It's also not an abrupt transition ever. Every edition is very subtle to where if you're not listening closely, you might not notice just all of a sudden the song feels a lot fuller than it did at the beginning.
