Allicin is a phytochemist and has antimicrobial antibacterial, antifungal, even antiviral properties. People at home who have this type of issue, they know what I'm talking about where they consume a little bit of garlic and they can feel it in their gut. But generally speaking, this family of vegetables are definitely good for gut health.
