The Importance of Polymorphism in Application Development
MongoDB's polymorphism makes it easy for developers to change what data is captured and stored in the database. The structure of your documents doesn't exist in ascheme per se separate from the database, but exists in the documents themselves. As developers, we are responsible for that. And if you're not a separate DBA, we get to control what that schema looks like for our document structures.
