You had a mentor at this company who you say is an expert marketer. Are there any lessons in particular the CEO taught you while working there that you carried forward later on with your other publications? There was definitely a learning of like how to divide a business so you can measure its progress and then specifically how to divide marketing Also just the personality like it's better to be your personality and put something out there than do nothing or try to do something but don't feel good enough about it.
